Elisa Longo Borghini won today in Darfo Boario her third consecutive Italian title, the sixth in total of her career.

The Uae champion dominated the 130 km race attacking about twenty kilometers from the finish to detach Monica Trinca Colonel (Jayco AlUla), and Eleonora Ciabocco (Team Picnic), respectively second and third at the finish line. The latter is the Italian Under 23 champion.

Longo Borghini is one of the big favorites for the Giro d'Italia, which she has already won in 2024, starting next July 6th from Bergamo.

Fear for Vittoria Guazzini, who fell on the descent and ended up against a wall at the side of the road.

The FDJ-SUEZ representative managed to get into the ambulance on her own two feet and was taken to hospital for checks.
