Fall in the final but same time for the big teams
Lorena Wiebes won the third stage of the Giro d'Italia Women 2025. The Dutch sprinter clearly prevailed on the finish line in Trento, beating Josie Nelson of Team Picnic and her teammate of Sd Worx, Lotte Kopecky. Elisa Longo Borghini also did well, finishing in fourth place.
A crash less than 3km from the finish involved several athletes, including pink jersey Anna Henderson. But thanks to the neutralization, the British rider remains in the lead with a 13-second advantage over Marlen Reusser and 31 seconds over Elisa Longo Borghini.
Tomorrow I arrive uphill at Pianezze.
