Primoz Roglic won the eleventh stage of La Vuelta, from Antequera to Valdepenas de Jaen of 133.6 km. The Jumbo Visma rider preceded Enric Mas and Miguel Angel Lopez, both of Movistar, at the finish line, respectively 3 and 5 seconds.

A stage enlivened by a five-man escape including Magnus Cort (Ef Education-Nippo), the last one resumed a few hundred meters from the finish. In the general classification, the Norwegian Christian Odd Eiking of Intermarchè Wanty Gobert remains the leader.

To signal the retreats before the start of Alex Aranburu (Astana Premier Tech) and Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin Fenix), winner of two stages.
