The column on fantasy is back, this time with the focus on the Tour of Flanders , won by Mathieu Van der Poe l. The Alpecin fenix rider , fresh winner of the Dwars door Vlaanderen a few days earlier, was the number one favorite for the Ronde and did not disappoint the expectations of the fantamanagers who had bet on him. 616 points conquered, for a cost of 52 million : a safe investment that earned an average of 11.85 points per credit . Van der Poel was ninth in the special classification that considers this parameter. The first was Fred Wright , from Bahrain Victorious : the Briton with seventh place and 141 points , earned 47.75 points per credit against an investment of only 4 million .

In second place, in this special ranking are Mozzato , De Vylder and Grignard , who, with a cost of 1 million , took home 46 points .   Then there are Bohli and Paasschens who, again with an investment of 1 million, have won 41 points.

Among the top three in the order of arrival, the rider who recorded a better average of fantapoints per credit is Valentin Madouas : the French of Groupama FDJ , before Flanders, had an evaluation of 11 million and won 410 points : the average is 37.27 points per credit .

It is followed by runner-up Van Baarle with 19.64 points per credit: the Dutchman had an initial valuation of 25 million and scored 491 points .  

Those who chose Dylan Teuns also fished well: the Belgian is an unpredictable runner, and alternates days of great brilliance with dull periods. At Fiandre he showed the best version of himself and achieved an excellent sixth place. This means 11.75 points per credit , with 235 points in the fantamanager coffers, for an investment of 20 million .
