The Slovenian attacks halfway up the Ganda Pass

Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) wins Il Lombardia 2025, from Como to Bergamo, 241 km.

In the early stages of the race, a 14-man breakaway broke away and maintained a lead of around 3 minutes for over 150 km.

On the Passo della Crocetta, Simmons attacks and remains alone in the lead, while in the main group the UAE sets the pace without forcing the pace.

On the Zambla Alta, Healy surprisingly breaks away, while Simmons' lead remains unchanged.

On the Ganda Pass, Vine immediately pushed hard, leaving only Pogacar , Del Toro , Evenepoel Storer , Alaphilippe , and Seixas on his wheel. With 5.5 km to go, the world champion attacked, and as always, no one was able to react.

Pogacar reached Simmons at the head of the race with 3 km to go and dropped him a few hundred meters later. From behind, Evenepoel pulled away on the final climb and drew Storer along with him.

The Belgian also attacked on the downhill and launched a solitary chase on Pogacar, but the gap was unbridgeable: the Slovenian won his fifth consecutive Lombardy. 2nd place went to Evenepoel , 3rd to Storer .
