Aleksandr Vlasov will participate in the Tour de France . After retiring from the Tour de Suisse due to the positivity at Covid, the captain of the Bora will be at the Grand Boucle; the same team announced it by communicating the eight riders who will be competing.

Alongside Vlasov, there will be Maximilian Schachmann, Marco Haller, Patrick Konrad, Lennard Kämna , the new German national champion Nils Politt and the Austrian Felix Großschartner . The sprinter will be Danny Van Poppel , so top sprinter Sam Bennett will not be there.  

Vlasov will therefore be one of the favorites for the podium, even if there is the unknown of his physical condition, given that he has recently disposed of Covid.
