Another sprint, this time the British is perfect

Matthew Brennan (Team Visma | Lease a bike) wins the final stage of the Tour Down Under, 169.8 km from Stirling to Stirling.

The start of the race was quite intense, with constant attacks and breakaway attempts. After 30 km, the situation stabilized with Plapp , Eenkhoorn , Stannard , and Novak in the lead.

With 20 km to go, Buitrago 's attack reshuffled the lead: Glivar, Cepeda, and Romo took the lead with him, but the group gave them very little space.

At 5km Adam Yates keeps the pace high for Jay Vine , but it is Team Visma who takes charge of the final chase and catches up with the leaders.

The final sprint was set up very well by the yellow and blacks, Gilmore tried to get ahead of the game, but bounced back, while Brennan started off at the right time and beat Fisher-Black and Andresen .

In the general classification everything remains unchanged with Jay Vine winning the race from Schmid and Sweeny.
