Reusser retains the pink jersey
Movistar's Liane Lippert took victory in the sixth stage of the women's Giro d'Italia, finishing in Terre Roveresche after 145km, outsprinting Pauliena Rooijakkers (Fenix-Deceuninck) after the two had dropped from the breakaway with 10km to go.
Shirin van Anrooij (Lidl-Trek) took third place, crossing the finish line 46 seconds behind the winner.
The small group led by pink jersey holder Marlen Reusser arrived 1'24" behind. The Swiss rider maintains the overall lead, ahead of Longo Borghini, who is 16 seconds behind.
