Olav Kooij will not make his debut at the next UAE Tour , a race he would have been the protagonist in the new Decathlon CMA CGM jersey.

As announced by the team itself, the Dutch sprinter has been suffering from an illness in recent days, which has affected his preparation. Despite the UAE Tour remaining exactly a month away, his absence from the race seems to be official, and his participation in Omloop and Kuurne on February 28th and March 1st remains highly uncertain.
