The Dutchman wins ahead of Pogacar and is in the yellow jersey
Mathieu Van der Poel won the second stage of the Tour de France, from Lauwin-Planque to Boulogne-sur-Mer of 209.1 km. With the escapees of the day Van Moer, Fedorov, Armirail and Leknessund caught, the battle between the big teams for the treacherous finale begins.
The best without sprinters remain at the front: Van der Poel wins the stage and the yellow jersey, preceding Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard at the finish line after an exciting sprint.
