Romain Gregoire won the first stage of the Tour of Switzerland, starting and finishing in Kussnacht, 129 km long.

Race in the rain and escape of about thirty men who take a significant advantage over the group. Among them also the Frenchman of Groupama Fdj who leaves his opponents in the last descent before the finish line and arrives only with a handful of seconds of advantage over Kevin Vauquelin, Bart Lemmen and Julian Alaphilippe.
