Axel Laurance wins the final stage of the Tour de la Provence, 205 km from Rognac to Arles.

In the early stages of the race, a breakaway of 9 riders was formed: Laurance, Jarnet, Manzin, Loulergue, Arnes, Peter, Carr and Davy.

The leaders managed to maintain a good lead even in the second part of the stage, while the group didn't seem particularly intent on finishing.

In the final kilometers, a few sprints began in front, with Laurance and Arnes trying for the stage win. The Frenchman from Ineos tried again in the final kilometer, opened up a gap, and took the victory. Jarnet and Manzin closed in behind him, 4" behind, while the peloton closed to within 15".

Riccitello confirms his leadership jersey and wins the Tour de la Provence.
