We start from Lausanne, stopping at Mont Ventoux

This morning the route of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes was presented, which will start on August 1st with departure and arrival in Lausanne.

The main event is expected on the seventh stage, with the finish on Mont Ventoux after 144 km.

Before tackling the Giant of Provence, the athletes will be busy tackling the second stage, finishing in Geneva, a fourth 21km time trial stage in Burgundy and a fifth stage through the hills of Beaujolais.

However, the Ventoux, with its 15km climb, may not have the final say, with the yellow jersey still subject to change in the two finishes in Nice (stages 8 and 9), especially on the final day, which features four climbs of the Col d'Èze before the finish on the Promenade des Anglais.

The stages:

Stage 1: Lausanne – Lausanne (137 km)

Stage 2: Aigle – Genève (149 km)

Stage 3: Geneva – Poligny (157 km)

Stage 4: Gevrey-Chambertin – Dijon (21 km – individual time trial)

Stage 5: Mâcon – Belleville-en-Beaujolais (140 km)

Stage 6: Montbrison – Tournon-sur-Rhône (153 km)

Stage 7: La Voulte-sur-Rhône – Mon Ventoux (144 km)

Stage 8: Sisteron – Nice (175 km)

Stage 9: Nice – Nice (99 km)
