Matej Mohoric won the 113th edition of the Milan-Sanremo.

The Slovenian champion attacked along the Poggio descent, taking many risks, after the uphill selection made by Tadej Pogacar who, however, was unable to break away from the formidable competition.

A few seconds behind Mohoric came Anthony Turgis and Mathieu Van der Poel, returning after a long stop. Wout Van Aert and Pogacar are the losers of the day: they finished eighth and fifth respectively.
