From the Giro della Sardegna in February to the Lazio GP in September

In 2026, five new races will arrive on the Italian cycling calendar.

The first will be the Giro di Sardegna (2.1) scheduled from 25 February to 1 March with 5 stages: an early season race, also favoured by the mild temperatures of the island, which could give important indications on the conditions of the riders for the following months.

Then on March 29th we will have the GP Emilia , a classic in Emilia Romagna, but we still don't know the characteristics and the route and it is therefore difficult to understand which men it might be suitable for.

From 12 to 16 April the Giro della Magna Grecia (2.1) will be held in 5 stages in southern Italy.

Another stage race has been added between 1st and 3rd July with the 3-day Lyon-Turin (2.1): starting in the flat area of the French city, but guaranteed fun with the Alps to reach Piedmont.

Finally, the last race added is the Lazio Grand Prix (1.1) set for September 19th.
