It was clear that Remco Evenepoel was serious about his performances at the start of the season. The Belgian continues to win, even at the Valenciana, where he won the fourth stage, finishing in Teulada Moraira after 172 km.

The Belgian broke away from everyone on the final climb of the day, reaching the finish line alone and also taking the overall leader's jersey.

Joao Almeida and Giulio Pellizzari finished 24 seconds behind him, while Antonio Tiberi finished in fourth place.

Evenepoel now leads Almeida by 29 seconds and Pellizzari by 31 seconds. The race concludes tomorrow with the finish in Valencia.
