The young Belgian beats Lapeira and Kubis

Joppe Heremans won the fourth stage of the Etoile de Besseges, 154.8 km from Saint-Christol-lez-Alès to Vauvert.

The 22-year-old Belgian from Van Rysel Roubaix, his first professional victory, edged out Paul Lapeira of Decathlon and Lukas Kubis of Unibet in the final sprint on a slightly uphill road. Matteo Moschetti of Q36.5 finished fourth.

Kubis maintains his lead in the general classification as he awaits tomorrow's race-deciding final stage, an individual time trial with a mountain finish in L'Hermitage.
