Vingegaard and Pogacar finish second and third together

Thymen Arensman won the 19th stage of the Tour de France, from Albertville to La Plagne, 93.1 km.

A shortened stage in which the breakaway had no chance given the strong pace set by UAE Emirates. Primoz Roglic, Valentin Paret Peintre, and Lenny Martinez attempted, unsuccessfully. The Slovenian was caught at the foot of the final climb by the yellow jersey group and then collapsed.

At the front, Pogacar made a couple of attacks, while Jonas Vingegaard remained close behind. Arensman capitalized, gaining an advantage and never being caught again. This was the Ineos Grenadiers rider's second stage win.

Behind him, Vingegaard precedes Pogacar and Florian Lipowitz who consolidates his third place in the general classification.
