Paul Magnier (Soudal QuickStep) wins the second stage of the Tour of Guangxi from Chongzuo to Jingxi   (178.9km).

The day's breakaway, made up of Oxenberg, Guglielmi, Dewulf, Van Den Broek, Geniets and Valgren, came close to a maximum advantage of 2'.

The slight climb up National Road doesn't create any particular selection and the main group reabsorbs Dewulf and Van Den Broek , the last escapees to give up, 6 km from the finish.

Narvaez tries to anticipate the sprint with an attack at -5 km, but the fast wheel teams close in on the Ecuadorian.

In the sprint, Bittner , well launched by his team, starts off with determination, but Magnier catches his wheel, overtakes him and scores a repeat. Aniolkowski is 3rd, with Italian Skerl 4th.
