With McNulty's victory at the Tour de Pologne, Pogačar's team is close to breaking the record for wins in a season
UAE Team Emirates-XRG continues to dominate the 2025 cycling calendar, closing in on new all-time records after Brandon McNulty’s victory at the Tour de Pologne on Sunday.
McNulty's win marks UAE's 72nd victory of the season, as they aim to surpass their record of 81 victories set last year. The all-time record belongs to Columbia-HTC , which reached 85 victories in 2009 thanks to riders of the caliber of Mark Cavendish and Andre Greipel.
While Tadej Pogačar contributes significantly with 16 victories, the team’s strength lies in its extraordinary depth: McNulty became the 20th UAE rider to win a race in 2025, extending another record already held by the team.
The Emirati team won 15 overall classifications this year, already exceeding the 12 they achieved in 2024. The weekend was particularly fruitful with Isaac del Toro's victory at the Vuelta a Burgos preceding McNulty's success in Poland.
In the seasonal win rankings, UAE maintains a clear lead over Lidl-Trek (38 wins), while Soudal-QuickStep and Visma-Lease a Bike are fighting for third place.
With the Vuelta a España and the Autumn Classics still to go, the team is determined to surpass its all-time record of 85 victories, with Juan Ayuso and João Almeida poised to battle it out in the final Grand Tour of the season. Pogačar, while skipping the Vuelta, will return to racing in Canada before the World Championships and will aim for a fifth consecutive victory at the Giro di Lombardia in October.
