Michael Matthews (Jayco AlUla) won the Eschborn-Frankfurt World Tour race held today in Germany over the 198km distance.

Around thirty riders were competing for the win: despite the great work of Uno X for Magnus Cort, Matthews was the first to cross the finish line ahead of Cort and Jon Barrenetxea of Movistar. Seventh, and first of the Italians, was Stefano Oldani of Cofidis.
