It's pink race time and it's time for our first special league for a grand tour.

For the Giro d'Italia League, you will have 250 credits to compose your team of 9 riders. There will be beautiful gifts up for grabs for the first 10.

But who are the runners to take?

Of course, the favourites for the pink jersey are quite well-known: Primoz Roglic, winner of the Giro two years ago, will have to deal with the UAE Emirates duo Juan Ayuso and Adam Yates.

Behind them we can mention Egan Bernal, Mikel Landa, Thymen Arensman, Richard Carapaz, Jay Hindley and Antonio Tiberi.

For a good top 10 finish we must mention the winner of the Tour of the Alps, Michael Storer, Giulio Ciccone, Daniel Martinez, David Gaudu, Derek Gee and Romain Bardet.

For stage wins, and the points jersey, here are Wout Van Aert (although not in top form), Mads Pedersen, Kaden Groves, Paul Magnier and Corbin Strong. And let's not forget Thomas Pidcock, a loose cannon ready to amaze in a three-week race.

There will be 48 Italians at the start: in addition to the names already mentioned, hopes include Lorenzo Fortunato, Damiano Caruso, Davide Piganzoli, Filippo Zana and Christian Scaroni.
