In the official press conference of the Tour of the Alps, Antonio Tiberi appears convinced and determined and is ready for the next month of races in which he will be a protagonist.

The Bahrain-Victorius rider is motivated and is here not only to prepare for the Giro , but also to get a result in this short stage race: "Last year the run-up to the Giro went very well, I came here and got third place and so this season I will do the same preparation".

"How do I feel compared to a year ago? I'm definitely more aware of my means and ambitious ; I know it won't be easy, but I feel ready", he then continues "the last Italian to win here was Nibali in 2013 and for me it would be a huge honour to succeed him, this can give me an extra push to do well".
