Now it's official: Domenico Pozzovivo has reached an agreement with Intermarché Wanty Gobert and will be at the start of the Ruta del Sol, a Spanish stage race scheduled from 16 to 20 February.

The Lucan, left without a team after the failure of Qhubeka, has always declared that he wants to continue his career for at least another season.

With 39 years of age, Pozzovivo is one of the most experienced riders of the group: in his career he has won 13 races and started 21 great laps.

So he too will be among the listed for the 2022 Fantacycling season and could be an excellent investment in the context of the Giro d'Italia.
