After terminating his contract with Team Area-Samsic , Nairo Quintana appears to be ready to rejoin a World Tour team in 2023. The Colombian, who has reportedly already turned down an offer from Team Medellin , is confident he can return to the top level : “I can't say much more – Quintana declared to the EFE agency – I'll be in the WorldTour , I'll continue to pedal hard and look ahead. The idea is to keep the motivation to win races and represent my country. Next year I'll be racing the big races."

Quintana didn't go too far, but he didn't rule out, among the various options, a sensational return to Movistar : “ It could be one of the options . The truth is that I have a very good relationship with them, we have had very successful years, so why not. But the most important thing is to have options to keep racing .”
