Simon Yates won the eighth and final stage of Paris-Nice , with start and finish in Nice, after more than 115 kilometers with 5 mountain grand prix.

The Brit beat the Jumbo-Visma duo, made up of Wout Van Aert and Primoz Roglic , just 9 seconds behind. Van Aert himself was fundamental for Roglic's final victory, who without the help of his teammate would hardly have been able to contain Simon Yates' attack.
