The world champion was celebrated in the United Arab Emirates
A golden year for Tadej Pogacar, celebrated even in the United Arab Emirates . There's no need to list the results beyond confirming his world champion title: the Slovenian repeated his success at the Tour de France and, in addition, won the European championship. The Abu Dhabi Cycling Club honored Pogacar with a gold statue depicting his iconic bow celebration. Fans flocked to the UAE Team Emirates XRG Festival, an event that allowed over 1,000 cycling enthusiasts to ride alongside the athletes of UAE Team Emirates-XRG and UAE Team ADQ.
Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, Chairman of Emirates Team UAE, said : “It is an incredible honor to see the team at the top of world cycling for the third consecutive year.
