The race will take place from 20 to 24 April 2026

The 2026 Tour of the Alps, scheduled for 5 stages from April 20 to 24, will be officially presented on Thursday, November 13 at Areapergolesi Events in Milan .

Below is the press release of the race regarding the official presentation

Following a spectacular 2025 edition, the Tour of the Alps is ready to reveal its cards for a new chapter: the great protagonists of world-class stage races will return to the roads of the Euregio, in a challenge that intertwines sport and territory. It's no coincidence that Tyrol, South Tyrol, and Trentino now have top-level cycling in their DNA: from the 2018 World Championships in Innsbruck, to the historic 2021 European Championships in Trento, up to the 2031 Super-World Championships, which will award twenty rainbow jerseys in Trentino.

The Tour of the Alps restarts on the momentum of the emotions experienced last April: the “chapeau” of   Thymen Arensman , despite the Green Jersey just being snatched from him by the Australian   Michael Storer   in the grand finale in Lienz, at the end of one of the most beautiful and hard-fought editions in the history of the race. And how can we forget the classy performance of   Julius Ciccone   in San Lorenzo Dorsino, a prelude to an important season with second place in the Liège-Bastogne-Liège, success in San Sebastian and the role of leader of the Italian national team at the World Championships in Rwanda.

The Tour of the Alps has come a long way: great champions have entered the roll of honor, an innovative format with short, spectacular stages full of twists and turns, constant investments in safety, the honor of hosting the AIOCC Assembly in Italy for the first time.   and a powerful work in terms of promotion and television distribution culminating in the partnership with   Infront Sports & Media . The latest edition generated   over 17 million in media value globally : numbers that certify the international dimension it has acquired.

Sport Alto Garda , the event's organizer, looks to the future with ambition: the tenth anniversary will not be a point of arrival, but a new beginning for further growth. Once again, the roads of the Euregio are preparing to become the stage for great cycling, offering enthusiasts five of the most exciting days of the cycling season this spring.
