Mozzato, Dainese, Tiberi, Covi and Zambanini: low cost deals for Fantacycling

Our journey among the ten Italian under 25 riders to follow in 2023 continues. If you want to read the first part click here: The ten Italian under 25 riders to follow in 2023 (1st part) | Fantasy cycling (fanta-cycling.com)

Luca Mozzato (6 fantamilioni) - He will turn 25 in mid-February and 2022 was his year. Of course, the victory was missing, but the avalanche of placements in the top 10 in classics and one-day races bode well. After moving to Arkea, he will make his debut at the Tour Down Under in Australia in a few days. Curious to see it in action.

Alberto Dainese (17 fantamilioni) - A stage win in the Giro and a Tour concluded on the first attempt are more than positive dynamics for the 24-year-old DSM sprinter, who is expected to see important confirmations again this season. Who knows if he had a competitive 'train'... in the meantime, let's give him time. We will see it at Down Under.

Antonio Tiberi (1 fantamilione) - Very young, only 21 years old, he is one of the most interesting riders, also to help the team (Trek). Well in the Vuelta, the only grand tour disputed and finished, he unlocked himself by winning his first pro race in Hungary. We are not talking about the new 'Nibali' but in 2023 we expect a leap in quality. He is expected to compete in the Vuelta de San Juan, Argentina, in January.

Alessandro Covi (5 fantamilioni) - Three victories last year, including the wonderful action on Fedaia in the Giro d'Italia. At the age of 24 he will still have to work a lot for the captains of the UAE Emirates but we are sure that he will get many satisfactions. The 'Puma di Taino' will make his debut at the Volta Algarve in mid-February, then Tirreno and Catalunya before the Giro d'Italia. But his calendar is still incomplete.

Edoardo Zambanini (3 fantamilioni) - After an uninspiring start to 2022, the 21-year-old from Bahrain has taken the measures and is starting to show his qualities, especially at the Vuelta (first Italian overall). Now, time is on his side and the new year may still be winding down. Meanwhile we will see him at the Giro d'Italia from May 6, before his racing agenda is still to be defined.
