Let's retrace the very classic through our numbers

The “ Fantacycling Statistics ” section is back, the numbers not to be missed to be a top fantamanager .

This time we focus on the Milan-Sanremo which, as often happens, spared no surprises. Let's start with the winner, Matej Mohoric , who brought 610 points to those who bet on him: the Slovenian, with a starting price of 32 million , earned 19.06 points for every credit spent on him.

Those who bet on Anthony Turgis , runner-up and author of 485 fantapunti , also made an excellent investment.   The Frenchman of Total Direct Energies , starting from a price of 17 million , won 28.53 points per credit .

Going in order, Mathieu Van der Poel also did well, third classified with 410 points . The Dutch champion, with a starting price of 48 million (high, despite being stopped for some time), recorded the parameter of 8.54 points per credit .

Given that it falls, inexorably, for Tadej Pogacar , who with 64 phantomilioni of starting price and 285 fantapunti conquered, registers 4.45 points per credit . The Slovenian, in any case, represents a guarantee and by now proves to be a universal runner, able to compete in any type of path, even in a classic one such as Sanremo .

In the case of Wout Van Aert , the parameter of the fantapoints per credit is lowered again: 2.76. The Belgian finished eighth, but for a rider of his caliber, such a placement is equivalent to half a disappointment. Also because those who had bet on him at the Fantacycling had to shell out the beauty of 58 million .

On the other hand, those who chose Jan Tratnik made a good shot: the Slovenian took home an excellent ninth place and 151 points given to the fantamanagers. With 8 starting quote credits the Bahrain rider Victorious set the benchmark of 18.88 points per credit and proved to be a pretty good investment.

Michael Matthews also did well (fourth with 335 points ) and Arnaud Démare (tenth with 110 points ). The first had a starting price of 29 fantamillioni , but he was one of the most anticipated, while the second was the only pure sprinter to keep the pace of the best (with a price of 26 fantamillioni he guaranteed 4.23 points per credit ).

Also worth mentioning is the performance of Soren Kragh Andersen , seventh at the finish line and author of 185 fantapunti . The Dane, with a starting cost of 15 million , took home 13.33 points per credit ; now it is worth 17 and the hope of the fantamanagers is that it will not disappear after the acute of the Classicissima (which already happened in 2021).   Two of the most successful investments were Albanese and Girmay , eleventh and twelfth in the standings and authors of 95 and 80 fantapunti. With a starting price of 3 million, the two riders recorded respectively 31.67 points per credit and 26.67 points per credit.

Finally, the escapes chapter: everyone took home 46 points. Rivi cost 2 million, while those who had the courage to bet on Sevilla , Conca , Gidich , Tonelli , Zakharov , and Tagliani spent only 1 million: a more than precious investment.
