Elisa Longo Borghini wins the women's UAE Tour!
The Italian champion triumphed in the final stage from Al Ain Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium to Jebel Hafeet (156km).

On the final climb, it was UAE Team ADQ who set the pace with Swinkels and Persico sacrificing themselves for captain Longo Borghini.
The Italian champion was the first to attack and take away a small group of 5 athletes.

Longo Borghini pulls away again, but Niewiadoma manages to catch her wheel, but on the third attempt the Italian gets away and leaves all her opponents behind.

The UAE athlete crossed the finish line alone ahead of her compatriot Trinca Colonel , who put in a great climb to finish. De Vries completed the podium for both the stage and the overall standings.
